In order to fulfill the increasing requirements of their customers, the logistics performers must constantly seek solutions to improve the effectiveness of their missions (to shorten the deadlines, the costs, to improve the quality of services...). They must optimize their know-how in the field of the management of physical flows and, of course, to be at the point of new technologies.
The systems of traceability are used more and more, which makes it possible to function in tended flows. It is more and more starting from the warehouse that the products are conditioned and the deliveries prepared : there too, the traceability of the products must be ensured between what was delivered by the producers, conditioning and forwardings. In this environment, the bar code EAN, labels SSCC and labels RFID, play a very important part. Nevertheless, the success of the traceability will be guaranteed only if one is sure to 100% that the good label is on the good product especially after a conditioning.
On the basis of this request, UP trace developed a concept which answers these various waitings. The management of flows may be ensured by our middleware and its modules "followed of pallet (Pallet Tail) LES and traceability". In addition, solutions of automatic marking are proposed with the following technologies:
- direct marking by jet of ink
- labels apply included RFID on products and paperboards
- labels apply, included RFID, on simple pallets
- labels apply, included RFID, on pallets with variable heights.
