up-trace Traceability… just a legal question?

If traceability fundamentally found its development thanks to international regulations, first in food and next in non-food security, it's commonly admitted that these were a fantastic accelerator for the awareness by companies of its numerous advantages. Economical imperatives establish that efficient and performing logistics and productions only can be ensured by products and transaction's complete traceability. It also has to be the first reason for tools adaptation.

GS1 PartnerGS1 international studies clearly show that traceability allows a half-stock reduction in logistic chains, upstream as well as downstream; that traceability tools, automatic identification and EDI allow a significant decrease of operations costs, and at least, that traceability extended to the sales front increases sales by a better sale-to-ask-adequation.

Traceability is also a wonderful marketing tool: as everyone knows, "years are necessary to build a brand's reputation, but only a few days can destroy it", or at least strongly damage it with the consequences everyone imagines.

So traceability, just a moral and security imperative?
With nowadays economical conditions, expertise can't be separated from a deep ROI study. On the basis of the advantages and lacks of a production line considered in its globality, UP trace makes a complete synthesis to advise and set up the most adapted solutions, adequate to the company's economical and reglementary imperatives.

up-trace Sensitive intelligence of Sick industrial readers

IDM140Sick

With its particularly high scanning speed (up to 500 scans/second), the Sick IDM140 BT scanner today offers excellent reading performances and an increased productivity: even barcodes partially or strongly damaged are rapidly and correctly read.

With the BlueTooth version, working at a 30 m distance from the base is not a constraint anymore, thanks to its integrated buffer.

The tested robustness of the housing and its ergonomic design make this reader a perfectly adapted tool for an industrial use while keeping an extremely attractive price.

Lector 620The Lector 620 makes it possible the identification of unaligned goods thanks to a reliable omnidirectional reading of 1D and 2D codes, even with poor contrasts.

Through its numerous versions, it's a highly adaptable solution for diverse applications in terms of resolution and reading distance.

Forward-looking, it will evolve with the code changes.
