A new system of marking increases the productivity at Tarkett

Famous rollers and flagstones ground vinyl manufacturer, the Tarkett factory in Sedan recently chose an improvement of the flexibility of marking on the packaging line of the flagstones.

This line, on which an automatic barcode labelling ensured the marking of the boxes, was thus equipped by UP trace with a system of high-resolution inkjet marking APLINK 780 of UBScode and with a software application for the management of these impressions, interfaced with the SAP ERP.

The awaited improvement did not disappoint the users: from the 400 or 500 different label layouts  used in the beginning, only 4 prove still useful today thanks to a better management of the variable data of these labels.

Greater flexibility thus, strong reduction of the costs of paper consumables, extreme ease of use…
